The town officers, on notification by the code enforcement officer, shall institute
or cause to be instituted, in the name of the town, any and all actions, legal and
equitable, that may be appropriate or necessary for the enforcement of the provisions
of this chapter. This section, however, shall not prevent any person entitled to equitable
relief from enjoying any act contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
