§ 66-1. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to:
(1)

Define subdivisions;

(2)

Require the approval of subdivisions by the planning board before the work may be commenced and establish procedures;

(3)

State the requirements of preliminary and final plans; and

(4)

Establish minimum standards for subdivision design and construction.
